Illinois must beat Iowa tonight

There isn't much to say about tonight's game other than Illinois desparately needs to win this game if they have any hope of being competitive in the Big Ten and making the NCAA tournament (without having to win the Big Ten Tournament). With a three game losing streak that they need to break and this being a home game, I am hopeful Illinois will come out and take care of business tonight. There is also some very encouraging news on Brian Randle that has come out of Illinois' practices this week. It is time for McBride and Randle to step up and exhibit some veteran leadership.
